IT TAKES SEVERAL STEPS TO SIGN UP. FOLLOW ALL THESE STEPS TO TAKE YOU THROUGH THE PROCESS.
1. PROVIDE YOUR INFO TO THE TEAM
If you haven't already filled out our Montrose Mountain Bike Team Signup Form, this will provide us with all the information that we need to get the wheel spinning. If you would rather, you can mail us your form to the address given under "pay your team fee" or you can drop it off at the high school with Mr. Cimaglio.
Contact Mr. Cimaglio at the high school to pick up the appropriate paperwork require by the high school.
The team dues are $150 for the high school racing season. This includes a team jersey and socks. This covers the basic costs of running and registering our MHS team and includes a team jersey. This is our team uniform and it is important that everyone has one. We are lucky to be subsidized by some great sponsors, which keeps your costs lower.
pay Trough "Team" App
All payments need to be made through the Team app.
Once you receive your invite to the online “Pit Zone,” you will need to register your rider with the Colorado High School Cycling League. This is separate from the Montrose High School team registration. The League is the larger governing organization that our high school team is a part of.
If you are signing up for your first season with us, you will need to create an account, using the link that is being emailed to you (again, please be patient…it might take a day or two to receive the link to the Pit Zone!). If you are a returning rider, or are returning to this Quick Guide to find the link to the Pit Zone, either to register or to pay for a race entry, the link is:
https://pitzone.nationalmtb.org/users/sign_in Once you are logged in, it’s very easy! Just follow the prompts, fill out the forms, and pay your fees. You will need your insurance info, a credit card, and 5 minutes of your time. The total fee for the season is $65, plus $60 per race.
You do not have to pay for the races until a week before the race, but you are welcome to pay for all the races at once, if you’d like. Be sure to come back to the Pit Zone at least by the Monday prior to the race to register — there is no onsite race registration!
